Regular Member baldfighter Posted May 17, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted May 17, 2023 Hi everyone! I had my transplant for the hairline area 13 days ago. I was around NW2.5. I just noticed that my crown and mid scalp look thinner than before. The area was untouched during the surgery though. I am wondering if shock loss can happen in the untouched area, or I am I just going bald there? In the latter case I would have to prepare myself for another transplant. Regular Member Bucky O Hair Posted May 17, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted May 17, 2023 Maybe they harvested grafts from the crown instead of the safe zone? No, just kidding. Did they shave your entire head (crown and midscalp included)? Sometimes, when you shave your head, it shows every bit of detail and thinness you may not have seen before. I just got my HT a month ago (on the front half of my head only), but my crown looks a lot worse than before my head was shaved. 1
