Opinions and experience with growth after a confirmed infection.

Hi Everyone,
Im hoping this network can help put my mind at ease.

I am on day 20 post hair transplant, and was pretty slow for scabs to dry up and full off despite following the regiment quite closely. I ended up with lingering scabs at day 14 , 2x scabs were suspected as infected on day 15, and confrimed as infected with a script of antibiotics started on day 16. It now appears to be under control and healing well at day 20. Obviously my major concern is with how this will affect my long term growth. Im panicking slightly that I am already looking at a repair surgery, and it has potentially replaced all the excitement of the next few months with anxiety about growth.
I have 2 questions really:

1. What are some of the opinions (preferably professional) on the infection and its implication for my results?

2. Is there ANYONE that has experienced growth after an infection? Because after trawling through the forum, I cant see a evidence of a single person having growth (granted a lot of people stop posting after a certain point).
