Regular Member Singh1276 Posted February 19, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted February 19, 2023 Hi all, The hair fall started when I was 19 due to me being severely stressed for 1.5 yrs. None of the adults in my family ( both from paternal or maternal ) has a history of baldness. I have never had a very strong hairline ( thanks to my big forehead) but I have lost density in the front ( it is stable now with not a lot of shedding). I currently only take Minoxidil and starting Finasteride now. I travel to India from Canada yearly and was thinking to get a hair transplant at Eugenix. i took consultations from them and they suggested 1200 grafts. I am looking for suggestions from people here

Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted February 19, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted February 19, 2023 I would give the Finasteride a good year and see how much you benefit from it. I would continue with the minoxidil also. All the best. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix

Valued Contributor A_4_Archan Posted February 19, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted February 19, 2023 Oral minoxidil and finasteride would definitely give u a good result .. As far as transplant goes first see how medication results are..you may nt even need surgery if you are a good responder to it...and even u cn consider prp therapy which will help in boosting up your grafts and make them fuller and thicker... And if after medication u wish to go for a surgery thn i guess the quoted grafts from eugnix would be sufficient to strengthen your hairline...and eugenix is a reputed clinic and u cn go with them..best of luck.. 1 Check Out My Hair Transplant Journey --> My Thread 3611 FUE Grafts With Dr Kongkiat Laorwong | Norwood 5 | 2nd May 2023
Regular Member Singh1276 Posted April 29, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 29, 2023 Hi everyone! I was taking Minoxidil and have been taking Finasteride 1mg/ day for 2 months. 1 month into Fin, I could see my hair getting thickened and reduce visibility of bald spot but now it had completely ruined my left temple. Is this part of the process or Should I stop taking it? Please see the before and after photos and suggest. I am still continuing 2ml of Minoxidil everyday. Senior Member mr_peanutbutter Posted May 1, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted May 1, 2023 the hairs that are fallen out now were already miniaturized without finasteride they would have fallen out eventually even though maybe not as quick however new, stronger hair will most likely grow there now
