marcoslw
I'm contacting some clinics for a hair transplant and they are giving different options (DHI or FUE). I did some research but still not sure what's the best for my case.

Thank you! I just started my research, so I'm not an expert on the topic... any help is much appreciated! Apart from Dr.Yaman, do you have any recommendation? Regular Member Rafael Manelli Posted January 31, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted January 31, 2023 Your case? What case? You look like you have a full head of hair in that photo! DHI is just a type of FUE. It’s alright but I don’t think it’s that big a deal. Nothing special compared to “regular” Fue.

Norwood 3 - as I mentioned 2500/3000 grafts

But okay, these photos are good. I think the hairline you've drawn is a little too low. You could save many grafts and still get a great cosmetic result if you went 5mm-10mm higher. But for what you've drawn, the number of grafts seems reasonable.
Regular Member Pubichair Posted January 31, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted January 31, 2023 I did DHI on my first HT. It was a total failure. My second repair HT was FUE. That looks so far like a great succes. lesson: don’t focus on the method, focus on the surgeon. They make or break the results. The methods are highly similar. 1 Read my FUEGENIX repair story here. Otherwise you could consider FueCapilar (dr Gur and dr turan). Just search for their names in search bar for results. you also need to start finasteride to stabilise your hair loss.
