Do transplanted hairs grow and than shed

It’s all of the above…some of the grafts remain in the growth phase and the hair continues to grow post-op…however, most of the transplanted follicles go dormant into the resting phase and then shed before entering a new growth phase.

So basically if any grafts do grow after the transplant they  won't shed but the ones that just sit there not growing will be the ones that shed than grow back? If I'm understanding correctly
