Regular Member Hah6788887 Posted January 22, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted January 22, 2023 Do transplanted hairs just sit there not growing than shed within a month of two or do they start to grow and than shed in the first 2 months and than grow back? Senior Member gillenator Posted January 22, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted January 22, 2023 It’s all of the above…some of the grafts remain in the growth phase and the hair continues to grow post-op…however, most of the transplanted follicles go dormant into the resting phase and then shed before entering a new growth phase. So basically if any grafts do grow after the transplant they won't shed but the ones that just sit there not growing will be the ones that shed than grow back?
