Regular Member Razzle1980 Posted December 5, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted December 5, 2022 I was curious about hair transplant results for people who smoke. I'm at 9 weeks post my 4,000 graft FUE procedure. While I'm not a regular smoker, I tend to smoke about 3-5 cigarettes per week. I didn't have a cigarette until 2 weeks post procedure and have probably smoked about a pack of cigarettes since then in the past 7 weeks. Without getting into the general health effects of smoking, I'm curious as to whether my mild habit will have any effect on the hair transplant results. I know there's a study that indicates smoking can harm transplant results, but I'm curious to see what kind of results people who smoke on this forum have had. I'm hoping that since I'm not a heavy smoker, it shouldn't effect my overall results.
