How long would you recommend waiting after hair transplant for a 15 hour return flight?

Is leaving the morning 2 days after the procedure too early?

i feel that after the first wash you should be good to go. I had my HT done overseas and flew approx 4 days later and had 3 washes with the clinic

Grafts take 72 hours to be secured in, so in a perfect world everyone would wait for 3 days. 

However, in reality, as long as you are cautious and take care of your surroundings (be sure to not bump your head in the airplane or taxi), you really could fly back the day after surgery.

I left about 40 hours after mine was finished; a little under two days. That’s fine; just have to take care to protect to the head while traveling. I wore a surgical cap and a hat over top on my way home. Better to have something covering the head in case you accidentally bump it rather than have an object hit the head directly.

I’ve booked for my flights to be roughly 10 days after my upcoming transplant. Although you could do earlier.

I waited I think at least 6 days after my actual surgery.
