Regular Member Dr. William Rassman Posted November 27, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2009 Hi Everybody, As you can see in the before photos, this patient had a very high hairline that was only getting worse with time. He was finding his hair loss to be a detriment in his interaction with women, and consistently found himself feeling self concious in his business. He had a slight persistent forelock which helped with our determining what coverage was needed. We put the patient on Finasteride to help slow his hair loss in the future, and that also provided additional protection against shock loss after the transplant. He had a single procedure totaling 2596 grafts that were placed mostly in the hairline, but also filling in the thinner areas behind it, which can be seen in the immediate post surgery photos. Even though his hair was not styled well in the after photos, you can still see the significant level of coverage that was achieved in this one procedure. He is likely to not need any further procedures in the future as long as his hair loss remains slowed or stopped altogether due to his use of Finasteride. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos. We're very proud of the work we do here at the New Hair Institute and this patient has enjoyed much more confidence in his interaction with others. And then some post surgery photos for those interested in that sort of thing.
