Regular Member Deda96 Posted July 17, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted July 17, 2022 Hello everyone, Its been 1 month since my hair transplant was wondering if using a towel to dry my hair is a good idea. Reason I ask is I got minor adjustment to.my hair line and side temples. It seems as my side temples are less concentrated I wear caps when I go out and worried it may be taking hair away. With a towel I'm worried I will cause extra damage if I use to dry. Thanks
Senior Member SeanT1 Posted July 18, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted July 18, 2022 Follicles should be fully set by now, you should be ok. But if you're unsure then go gentle.
Rahal Hair Transplant
Deda96, At one month post-op You can treat can treat your transplanted hair just like you’re natural hair. The newly transplanted follicles are deeply rooted around one week to 10 days postop so you have nothing to worry about. You can even use a hairdryer on a cool setting. Note that it’s never wise to use a hot setting on a hairdryer regardless of it being natural or transplanted hair.
