Ohnana
Hi Guys, When did you start styling your hair after surgery? Or when would you generally recommend styling your hair after HT?
Rahal Hair Transplant
You can style your existing natural hair immediately after surgery as long as you’re not doing anything to the transplant hair or touching the new grafts. But I wouldn’t put anything in your hair for at least a week after surgery and I wouldn’t run a comb brush through the transplanted hair for the first for the same amount of time. I hope this helps. best wishes, Rahal Hair Transplant Rahal Hair Transplant Institute - Answers to questions, posts or any comments from this account should not be taken or construed as medical advice. Senior Member HappyMan2021 Posted February 6, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted February 6, 2022 Probably overkill on my end but I personally would avoid styling the hair for 3-4 weeks......even though the grafts are secure after 10 days I still get bad voodoo touching them. Plus even with the grafts secure, your scalp is still healing from thousands of tiny incisions, and I just don't see any positive to styling in that situation.
