What to use for scalp pimples after HT?

Hi,

 

Its 2.5 months after my HT, and I am getting good growth in my recipient area, but also a lot of scalp pimples. I am now starting to also get some feeling back in my scalp as of today, which means that it is starting to become somewhat painful too.

 

I noticed 1 or 2 times, after I took a shower, I had some minor bleeding where the pimples were, which was a little disconcerting also.

 

Just wondering what I can use to get rid of scalp pimples after a HT?

Hey Heir2b,

 

I used Witch-hazel - which helped a lot, it also seemed to reduce the redness. Another method I used was to apply a warm flannel to the area and gently squeeze the spots.

Was the witch-hazel in the form of an ointment, spray or cream?

I used distilled witch-hazel from the local chemist. (it was in liquid form)

I got a lot of pimples in the recipient area, and I deduced it was from touching. I found that if I never touched the area except with freshly-washed hands, new pimples didn't form.
