ashenlamb
About to get a hair transplant using DHI FUE procedure with Dr. Reuben Thaker at Phaze Laser Med Spa in Vegas. Cost of procedure is $6500 for 1500 transplanted hairs. Does this seem like a good/ safe procedure and can I expect good results for the cost of treatment? I found this clinic on the DHI global website. Anyone know anything about this doctor or clinic or if it seems quality for what DHI can provide? Senior Member Britanium Posted November 20, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2021 Why don’t you check out the forums recommended list: https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/hair-transplant-surgeons.asp?sr=HRN-MOB So many proven/consistent Drs/Clinics who are just doing Hair Transplants and have tons of patient/clinic reviews here on the forum. Don’t take any risks on a Dr with no patient reviews we can see and who doesn’t just do hts.
Senior Member Britanium Posted November 20, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2021 (edited) You should provide some details of yourself, age, if your on a med regime, pics, what your current hair situation/Norwood level might be ? Or it’s just going to appear like a shill post. Edited November 20, 2021 by JC71
ashenlamb
I found the Dr. through the DHI global site due to recommendations from others towards DHI as being the best FUE procedure available. I'm currently on Fin, topical Minox, and after sending pictures to the doctor have been recommended 1500 grafts. I believe I'm somewhere between the 2-3 on the Norwood scale - sorry, I'm not too familiar with the terminology! I might not schedule the appt if I can't find out anymore about the doctor. I'm only trusting him because I found him on the list of doctors through the DHIGlobal website (I'm assuming this is a legitimate organization?) I live in Washington State and was looking into DHI FUE, and Phaze Laser in Vegas had the only doctor in the US listed on the dhiglobal site

No it’s not, stick around on the forum and research some proven Clinics/Drs. Who have both patient & clinic posted reviews. Full 12 month journeys are the best ones to look at. You can use the search bar to find results for each. The forums recommended list has lots of US based choices. DHI is just a marketing technique! It’s still FUE. You need to keep researching/learning before making any decisions. You nearly made a poor choice based on no actual results and a Dr who doesn’t even specialise in Hts.

He consistently produces stellar results and is extremely helpful/nice. My advice does not constitute a patient-physician relationship nor as medical advice and all medical questions/concerns should be addressed to your medical provider.
