Senior Member FUT4000 Posted November 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 8, 2021 Do you guys have a preference? Does foam cover more area? Thanks!
Senior Member LaserCaps Posted November 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 8, 2021 The medication is systemic. It is absorbed. No need to put it all over - you are wasting it. I find most patients find the foam easier to use, and it's not greasy. 1 Patient Consultant for Dr. Arocha at Arocha Hair Restoration. Senior Member shami26 Posted November 9, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 9, 2021 I prefer using the foam but the liquid is better for people with long hair because the liquid can drip down to the scalp. 1 Medication for Male Pattern Baldness: Topical Dutasteride - Topical Minoxidil 5% - Ketoconazole Shampoo Medication for Cicatricial Alopecia: Hydroxychloroquine - Topical Clobestasol - Doxycycline
Regular Member Kharmacoma Posted November 9, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted November 9, 2021 If you have a lot of hair already foam is impossible to reach the scalp.
Regular Member Twentyfive25 Posted November 10, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted November 10, 2021 Liquid made my head itch like crazy and it also makes your hair greasy so it's no good in the morning. Foam acts like a nice hair spray or hair wax so I think it's way better and worth the money. You do need to part the hair to apply it to the scalp if you have longer hair, though.
