Vishwanath-
Hi, I am new to this site and, reading through the so many posts I'm finding this to be a great one!!! I am 21 years old and I have a hairline that has receded. It looks pretty bad when it is blown by the wind or wet or when not shampooed for three/four days... I thought I'd go for a FUHT to cover up the recession and would like to know an approximate graft estimate, that you think I would require, so that I can get an idea of the cost involved... uploaded photos Thanks, Vishwanath
Bill - Seemiller
vishwanath, At 21 years old and your level of thinning, I'd consider getting on Propecia (finasteride) and Rogaien (minoxidil) ASAP to help you prevent the further progression of hair loss. See how you respond to them for at least 6 months to a year before considering surgery. You are still very young and don't have too much hair loss yet. In my opinion, preventing its progression should be your primary goal for now, and then over time, possibly surgery. Best wishes, Bill
