Should I start Minoxidil before a hair transplant surgery?

Hey everyone. I just started on Minoxidil a few days ago, but I'm planning on getting a hair transplant surgery as well within the next 4-6 weeks.  Is it a bad idea to start Minoxidil in such a short time frame before the surgery?

Would it be better to simply wait until after the surgery is completed to begin the Minoxidil?

As most Drs/Clinics ask that you stop using it approx 7 days before a Ht then I wouldn’t even start. 
You can always start after a week or so after you get your ht ?

Yes, it's not a good idea, in fact it could be detrimental too as minox usually causes an initial shed, therefore the surgeon could hurt these temporarily shed native hairs by transplanting on them. 

And just like John said, most doctors advise you to stop using minox at least a week before.
