Regular Member mikenguyen Posted September 8, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) Regarding sun exposure, I know that I need to prevent prolonged sun exposure on the recipient area for up to 1 year (my doctor recommend 1 year). However, how about the donor area? Can I expose the donor to direct sunlight now 2 months post op? I do wear a hat everytime I go into the sun but are still some gaps at the back of the hat that might expose the donor area. Also I play golf and I am wondering if wearing a hat is sufficient to protect my head through a 18 holes round. What do you guys think considering that I am 2 months post op right now?
