goodwally
Lookin into procedures. I like both fue and fut. But scaring in back of my head doesnt seem like a cute idea. But fue does have flaws too. Got diffuse hair in front and think I'm a nw 3 unless I'm mistaken. Donor area is ok but wish it were fuller for appearance. Read about a blend of fue and fut that docs are using now. Will fue last as long as fut?
Senior Member mattj Posted August 8, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted August 8, 2017 There is no difference between FUT and FUE in how long the hairs will last, assuming that all FUE extractions are from within the 'safe zone'. A combination of FUT and FUE will get the maximum out of your donor area, but it doesn't sound like you'll need a huge procedure if you're only a Norwood 3. Do you have any photos you can share so we can better assess your requirements? I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Senior Member Swooping Posted August 8, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted August 8, 2017 Yes, FUE will last just as long as a FUT. It's nice if you can share some pictures.
