Dr Scott Alexander, 1,600 grafts - 15 month update

A short update of my surgery with Dr Scott Alexander. Below are wet photos taken after 15 months and dry hair 2 weeks later.

A quick recap of my procedure:

In Jan 2016, I had 2,000 grafts – 1,600 in the front and 400 in the crown.

It was my third procedure, having had 2,167 with Dr Feller in 2007 and 1,000 in 2010 (all at the hairline). Both of these also produced excellent results.

I have incredibly fine, baby-like hair, which is very much at the core of my problem.

I went with Dr Alexander because he was able to work without shaving down first (my current job and the length of my hair would have made shaving problematic). Plus, he also came with brilliant reviews.

Am happy to say that I am very pleased with my results. The length and fine-ness of my hair make it very difficult to take photos that both fully show up my situation and results. Dr Alexander worked with the existing hairline, which he has managed to bulk up very nicely indeed. I hope that does show up to some extent.

I definitely can’t recommend Dr Alexander enough for those considering an HT. Thanks once again to the good doc and his lovely staff – as well as Spex, who, as always, has advised and helped me no end.
