Regular Member Lyubo93 Posted May 18, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted May 18, 2017 Hello, I'm almost 24 years old and I suffer from hair loss for a few years. Even though I think I started a lot earlier than I need. I do not have much loss yet, but my hairline has changed. I'm thinking of starting to get propecia after I'm 24 on August. I think I first start with one pill a week and in 5-6 months to increase the dose. Will propecia work in such small doses or to start straight with one pill a day? Senior Member mattj Posted May 18, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2017 It's a good idea to start on lower or less frequent doses, but I don't think you need to wait as long as 5 to 6 months before upping it. You could try adding a second pill per week after a couple of weeks and then a third after a month. That's just a rough time scale and others might suggest upping it sooner.
