Michael Vories, MD FUE 2500 Grafts- Scarring Alopecia

This 30 year old came in today for his 6 month follow up after receiving 2500 FUE grafts into his midscalp and frontal forelock. He suffered a MRSA infection several years ago after an abdominal operation, and the infection caused the scarring hair loss seen in the photo. He has had no hair growth over the last 3 years and wanted evaluation for hair transplantation. We initially did a test case of 100 grafts to make sure the area had sufficient blood supply for a larger procedure, and after acceptable (over 95%) growth of the test case proceeded with the 2500 graft, one day procedure. All grafts harvested and placed by Dr. Vories. Full facial images used with patient consent.
