Senior Member Dr. Michael Beehner Posted December 23, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 23, 2009 This 71 y/o male desired a lower and fuller front hairline and temple region framing his face. One year ago in December of 2008 he had one session of 1656 FU's (3744 hairs) dense-packed in front hairline with 19 and 18g solid-core needles. These were used instead of lateral slits due to the large amount of gray hair and the fact that the FU's had to be cut a little more conservatively ("chunky"), in order to respect the borders of the follicles which are harder to see in this color of hair and to avoid any transection. On the day of these photos he had a second session of 1331 FU's in between the grafts of the first session. These photos simply show what he looked like after one session. We expect to have the desired final result a year from now when this second session grows in.
