Regular Member Michael Vories, MD Posted December 2, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted December 2, 2016 This African-American patient came to our clinic 9 months ago after receiving a FUT procedure 2 years ago to restore his hairline. He was unhappy with the FUT scar as well, so our plan was to graft 1300 FUE grafts into his hairline, and use 300 FUE grafts to give some coverage to the donor scar. He presented yesterday at the 6 month post-op mark satisfied with the coverage both in the hairline and the FUT scar. Please note that this African-American result was performed only after conducting test grafts to make sure that the curl of the hair within the dermis could be extracted successfully. All grafts were harvested and placed by Dr. Vories. Dr. Mike Vories is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network
Senior Member wibbles180 Posted December 2, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted December 2, 2016 Hmmmm ... not really sure what to make of this , I don't see a bright future for this poor guy nw1 hairline placed by previous clinic , scars , and what appears to be thinning in the vertex .... is he on meds ? A classic example of keeping things conservative in the hairline unless you are 40 ish and have a pretty good chance of keeping the hair you have .
