Michael Vories, MD FUE Test Case

This is an unusual case of a 30 year old male who presented with a history of a severe scalp infection from an underlying GI illness 7 years ago. Scalp biopsy shows no continued infection, with resultant scarring hair loss. His hair loss has not changed over the previous 7 years. We decided to perform a test case of 100 FUE grafts in his posterior frontal forelock. He is now post-op 3 months from the test case, and is beginning to show growth. He is now scheduled for a 2500 FUE graft procedure in the affected area later this year, and we will keep this post updated.

Wow! That is an interesting case. Please keep us updated on this patient's procedure. I'm very interested to see how this turns out for him.
