Should I do Acell PRP treatment with an FUE transplant?

I've been through a couple of virtual consultations and am really thinking about committing to a 3000 graft FUE at the end of July.

 

As a NW5A, I'm trying to keep my expectations in check about what the results will look like with 3000 grafts.

 

One of the options with the procedure is the Acell / PRP treatment. I apologize if I'm missing recent posts on this, but searching through the forums I'm seemingly finding either threads that are really old or threads talking about the procedure independent of a hair transplant. I'm mainly just wondering, is it hype, or is there a big benefit when done in conjunction with a transplant?

 

I should've created a profile and asked questions here long before now, but couldn't bring myself to pay for the procedure (not sure if I'm allowed to post pricing so I won't) without at least jumping on here and asking for advice.
