Regular Member Alundra Posted May 25, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted May 25, 2016 should recommend it it's got ricinoleic acid and omega- 6 to greatly help blood flow and promote hair growth, and it's also used as a treatment for folliculitis. Why isn't this more talked about? what are your thoughts
Senior Member harin Posted May 26, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2016 in India castor oil is routinely used, soaking scalp for 1-4 hours before being washed off with non-detergent herbal powders. It woks well to keep hair soft. Since it is not used in western realms not much research is available. My Thread:
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted May 26, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2016 Interesting! While I've heard of castor oil (mostly from old movies) I know nothing about it. I was unaware of these benefits. It would be interesting to hear a physician's perspective on why it's not used for hair transplant aftercare.
