Dr. Bijan Feriduni Posted October 30, 2015 Share Posted October 30, 2015 FUE performed on a 42 year old Caucasian male with: - NW VI Class P - Donor density of 80 FU/cm2 in the temporal region and 88 FU/cm2 in the occipital region - Hair diameter of ~54-64 µm Treatment plan: - 1st FUE procedure with 1500-2000 follicular units to reconstruct the hair line and central core - 2nd FUE procedure with 2000 follicular units to add density to the hairline and central core - 3rd FUE procedure with 1000-2000 follicular units to reconstruct the bridge and lateral humps 1st procedure (January 28th, 2013): A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1953 FU * 526 single hair FU * 1327 double hair FU * No triple hair FU * 100 quadruple hair FU Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.8mm – 0.9mm) 2nd procedure (February 17th, 2014): A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1655 FU * 791 single hair FU * 563 double hair FU * 301 triple hair FU Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.8mm – 0.85mm) 3rd procedure (June 3rd, 2015): (No end result pictures available yet) A Follicular Unit Extraction with 2083 FU * 602 single hair FU * 1170 double hair FU * 311 triple hair FU Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle.
