Dr. Kapil Dua
A 23 year old Sikh gentleman presented with complaints of non progressive Hair loss in the frontal part of scalp for the past three years. He gave a history of tying turban. He stopped tying turban and underwent a haircut following which this patient noticed that there were no hair in the front area. On examination, the alopecia primarily involved the hairline zone and the temples. There were very few small hair along the border zone. The patient was advised hair transplant. He chose FUE technique because he did not want a linear scar on the back side of scalp. Twelve hundred grafts were implanted in the hairline zone and he did not want the temples to be done in this sitting. The surgery was uneventful. The following are his results 8 months after the surgery. Kapil Dua, M.B.B.S. M.S. ,FISHRS Chairman & Chief Hair Transplant Surgeon Dipl.
