Regular Member HT09 Posted January 12, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted January 12, 2010 I just read in the "Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency" December 09 newsletter "Drug Safety Update" that Finasteride could possibly cause male breast cancer! The article says that an increased risk of breast cancer cannot be excluded, and that cases of male breast cancer were reported in the clinical trials and in post-marketing trials. I got my GP to look over the clinical trial data before I started taking Fin and he thought it would be safe from the trial results if that's any comfort?
