Transplanted grafts falling out and shock loss are not the same. The latter happens when native hair in either the donor or recipient area falls out from the "shock" or trauma of surgery. Sometimes grafts do stick around, but I don't think it's very common and even at 1 month post you can still shed. Good growing to you!

I think each case is different. Some experience shockloss or shedding others experience minimal or none. Alot has to do with the skills of your Dr. I am sitting here at 4 months post op and I can honestly say I feel the same hairs that were transplanted and the same ones that never shed and are growing now.I did however have some shockloss around the scar but this was temporary.

Good luck to you on your progress.
