I Agree to the Terms of Se
H&W, and I presume other doctors, request patients stop topical minox 2 months prior to HT. Christina at H&W indicated it makes the donor "mushy". Does anyone know the culprit? Is it the minoxidil drug, alcohol, or the propylene glycol? 2 months with no topical treatments is a long time, potentially giving up some ground. Curious how other patients addressed this concern? Also did you use other topicals which clinics indicated were acceptable?
Senior Member flyby Posted March 21, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 21, 2009 Seems very odd that H&W would say that Minox makes the donor mushy since I don't know why anyone would even be applying minox in the donor area since that hairs going nowhere. Maybe there's more to it but I'd like to see what H&W have to say.
