A lot of the side effects of minoxidil and finasteride are well documented, and this is the reason that many persons take these drugs without consultation with a licensed medical practitioner. The best option is to always consult a bona fide physician and see if you can get a prescription for finasteride and minoxidil, in favour of self medication.

I read that there is going to be a warning included in the patient information leaflet of Propecia about possibility of an increased chance of getting cancer if you are using Finasteride. That is quite a side effect!

 

This isn't some big scare story, they are just saying keep an eye on your chest area, and go to the doc if you see any changes in your breast tissue. You can read about this on (promotional link removed)

 

They say that there is only a small number of cases reported, so this is just a word of caution, so check your chest tissue regularly for any lumps or bumps etc and check with your doctor if you find anything new. Anyone know what else to look for in male breast cancer?

done didnt show a strong enough rise in breast cancer numbers to warrant saying anything definitive, however they could not disprove the possibility, thus they added it in for safe measure.
