Jambo Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum but am hoping to get an answer to a quick question. I was using Minoxidil 5% twice a day for 18 months and got some good results in maintaining my hair and increasing its thickness all over. About 6 months ago I made the huge mistake of stopping this.... I had started taking finasteride and thought this would maintain the hair I'd grown. Massive Error! I should have researched further. Around 2 months ago I experienced a massive shed of hair and have lost so much density all over.... I am still shedding hair now. A month ago I restarted Minoxidil and laser therapy every 2 weeks. Has anyone else been in this situation. Did Minoxidil work when they restarted? I am so worried that if I don't stop shedding soon there will be nothing left. If anyone else has been in this situation and can share their experience it would help. At the moment I feel really scared, anxious and generally all consumed by this....
