I still continue to use it every day. The reason I believe it is helpful is because one of the important fatty acids in borage (gamma-linolenic acid) is known to be a potent 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Certain borage products (I won't name any names, but there are at least a couple) contain this amount in each pill. You said tabs, but it should definitely be softgels, and stored in a refrigerator as soon as you get it to prolong shelf life.
