Recent visit to Farjo clinic

I called in to see Mick on Thursday for a catch-up. The new premises are VERY nice. I think it's safe to say the new furnishings weren't from the latest DFS sale.

 

Anyway, Mick was very generous with his time (when I phone him he always reckons he's only got a minute to talk, but he obviously realised as I'd driven a hundred miles he couldn't get rid of me so easily:D)

 

The refreshing thing for me is that he just absolutely doesn't give it the hard sell. This is why I respect him. He could easily have used the opportunity to try to sign me up to another transplant, but that's just not his style. Back in 1998 when I first met him he practically tried to talk me out of getting one! Told me to get on meds for a year first. I've felt nothing but complete integrity from Mick and the Farjos in all the time I've known them.

 

I may well have another ht with them at some point but I know it will be when I decide and not from any pressure applied by them.

I hate when they hard sale. A doctor shouldn't have to do that.
