Senior Member Acrobaz Posted May 25, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 25, 2009 I asked a related question some time ago. Here is the thread: http://hair-restoration-info.c...=415107991#415107991 Doesn't really answer your question, but I think it's ok so as long as not chock full of other chemicals. Personally, I now use Revita. If in doubt, check with your doc. I particularly liked the money-saving tip from HairHope! 17 Feb 09 - 3,200 FUs by strip surgery (Dr Feller) My Hair Loss Website
Bill - Seemiller
Follicularly Challenged Scarred Male, It's usually a good idea to wait at least a month before using any medicine based shampoos, simply because they may cause extra scalp irritation resulting in additional temporary shock loss. Best wishes, Bill
Regular Member FollicularlyChallengedScar Posted May 28, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 28, 2009 Thanks for the feedback guys. Just was not sure if it was considered a "medicated" shampoo. I think tea tree helps keep any bouts of folliculitis at bay. Also, I believe tea tree oil is in Nioxin Shampoos and Hair Cycle Shampoo, both of which are apparently safe immediately post-op. Just trying to plan things out.
