How soon can I buzz my hair post FUE until it grows out?

Likely going to take two weeks (~14 days) off work after FUE before returning to work/normal activities.

 

Front third is thinned pretty well, and currently use my middle third to give it the look of "fullness". Obviously won't have this option after shaving my head for the procedure.

 

Wondering how close I'll be able to "buzz" my hair down after the procedure and when? Curious how others have best dealt with this as I don't like the look of most "growth" stage photos, so would prefer to keep it as tight/closely buzzed as possible for the first 5-6 months of growth.
