Regular Member Ice Posted January 18, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted January 18, 2013 I've been on propecia for about 5 months now and i've seen no slowing down of shedding or any thickening at all. My hairline has gotten worse and I'm not sure if propecia is working at all. I know this might be too early to say but i'm only 18 and thought maybe this would make me get at least some results quicker then a guy in his 30's. Am I just being too impetiant or should I give up on it and just accept that I will be almost bald before 20?
Regular Member Ice Posted January 18, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 18, 2013 But how come my hairline is worse than it was when I started?
Senior Member MrJobi Posted January 19, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 19, 2013 Whether it is a HT or Propecia the process of hiar growth is a long one. Give yourself a good 8 months before making any type assessment. Shedding is certainly a possibility and hair needs time to cycle through growth stages . Senior Member KO Posted January 21, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 21, 2013 Hairline loss is difficult to stop with propecia, it works best on top/crown. Stay strong, and take your fin buddy! 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
