okay, i've been using Minoxidil 5% solution on my scalp for the past week and i'm noticing a increase of falling out that I didn't have before and its freaking me out. My head gets inchy after I use it, is this normal?

I've also been exercising alot recently, would that affect anything?

Hi BMore,

Minoxidil is associated with a initial shedding phase, which can last up to the first 3-4 months of usage. After this primary shed, the hair will regrow thicker and healthier, and you should start to see regrowth in areas previously affected by alopecia as well! Additionally, most experts recommend taking the medication for 6-12 months before fully evaluating the results.

Good luck!
