whoc
I see a lot of concealers say that you need to use shampoo to wash it off on a regular basis and I am just wondering whether a normal regular soap would be able to wash it away or whether it has to be shampoo. Thanks
Regular Member msh89 Posted November 11, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted November 11, 2012 it doesn't have to be shampoo. i sometimes use a ph balancing face wash to rinse off my concealer if i screw up and have to restart. heck, even water would work, just not as good. they're not as waterproof as the company claims
Senior Member MrJobi Posted December 29, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted December 29, 2012 Back in the day I would just rinse my hair with water and leave it in (I'd use a little hairspray after brushing). It actually worked well for me and my hair is a bit on the drier side as well. Many people do not wash their hair everyday . jtr574
I've always used water, however I have used some brands in the past that were near impossible to get out with water.
Senior Member Shampoo Posted January 29, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 29, 2013 I am using concealer again during my ugly duckling phase post-op. I sprinkle on some Nanogen in the morning before work after showering and drying my hair. Then I rinse/shampoo it out during my next shower the following morning. It's never been difficult to get it out. In fact I shampoo my hair as I always have and the concealer just comes out when I rinse to get the shampoo out of my hair.
