Kani,

Have you been evaluated by a physician and received the "go ahead" to start finasteride?

I only ask because I normally always encourage members to undergo a thorough evaluation with a physician and obtain a legitimate prescription before beginning a finasteride regimen.

I definitely understand the financial predicament, but it is usually just safe and effective to go through the above steps.

i did get revaluated by a doctor a few years ago at bosley. Does that count?

Ideally, you should undergo a more recent evaluation, but I'm glad a physician was able to review your hair loss at some point in time.

Do you have a primary care physician?

If not, you could see one of our recommended hair restoration physicians.
