Regular Member newbee Posted October 2, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted October 2, 2012 Hi All, Have recently undergone a HT a couple of days back. Had significant native hair pre-HT. I had opted for shaving my hair Pre-HT. Though i know there would be some shock loss of the native hair - wanted to know by when can does the native hair start growing back. I am not concerned about the transplanted hair as i know they would take approx 8 months to show some measurable signs of growth. Anyone who has undergone HT - your inputs are most appreciated. Thanks.
Dr. Glenn Charles
The native that does not experience shock will start growing immediately and the hairs that do fall out from shock in the first few weeks should start growing again in 3-5 months. Dr. Glenn Charles
I try to tell patients that after the initial healing process is over to just try and forget about the procedure for 3-4 months. Don't drive yourself crazy. Starring in the mirror does not make hair grow faster. Go about your normal life and just know that something positive is going to happen down the road.
