Stopping Rogaine after 25 days

Hey guys,

 

 

SO I made a huge mistake. I am a norward 2-3 who is suffering from hair loss only at the hairline. I am currently on Proprecia x 1 year.

 

I am scheduled for a HT next year which should address my hairline needs however..

 

I started Rogaine at the hairline just to see if it could thicken things up. I started approx July 30th and stopped 2 days ago due to many reasons

1) some side effects

2) noticed the "dred shed" and didn't want to go through with it especially at the hairline which it does not have proven effects

3) the fact that I am getting a HT

 

 

My question is this. I stopped it abruptly. I used the liquid for 2 weeks, the foam for a couple of days and when back to the liquid. It has been less than a month and I stopped it.

 

Will the dread shed hairs grow back?

Should I wean myself off?

Did I make a mistake by starting it?

Any hairs lost purely due to the Rogaine (and that weren't just about to fall out anyway) should grow back eventually, I think.

If any of the hairs that shed are lost permanantly they likely would have fallen out on their own relatively soon anyway. These would have been the most unhealthy hairs that were still remaining. If healthier hairs shed they will grow back.
