Kirkland Minoxidil 5% question

i have recently purchased Kirkland Minoxidil 5% foam, and i have noted that it states on the packaging that it should only be applied for vertex hair loss, however i have frontal hairloss, I am about V1 do you think i should still use this or cut my losses and sell it on ebay? thanks

Technically, minoxidil was only tested, and proven effective, in the vertex and midscalp regions. While some physicians believe it's only marketed as a solution for the vertex and midscalp simply because those areas were evaluated in the initial clinical trials, others don't share the "hair is hair" mindset and don't believe it's as effective in the hairline. In other words, some experts think it works in the hairline and temple region, others think it's best in the vertex and midscalp.

 

Additionally, have you undergone a scalp evaluation? It sounds like your hair is still fairly dense and prominent, and it's probably best to obtain a medical opinion and make sure you're suffering from androgenic alopecia before starting a hair loss medication.
