However, having a surgery to help restore the hair to the original density is easier with a smaller procedure if the surgery is done at the early onset of hair loss. Here is a patient that needed 1,612 follicular unit grafts, totaling 3,399 individual hairs. The hair has been restored with a relatively small session. Also, confidence and a positive self image could be restored as well. The images show before the surgery, immediately afterwards, and just over one year after the surgery.
