Downunder01
Hi Friends, It's been a long time since I posted. I have suffering hair loss since 19 , now I'm 30 and for last 10 years I'm considering HT but never took things further. I'm located in Australia and all the feedback for the doctors here are not encouraging.Going to Canada or USA just for the surgery is quite expensive , being from india surgery in India is both affordable and convenient. As Dr Madhu is recommended on this forum it gives me little comfort but I'm calling upon any one from Australia Sydney who underwent surgery with Dr Madhu to please meet in person or talk to me atleast.I also have few qestions around HT and would appreciate your and Dr Madhu's feedback :- What are the safety procedures used in HT example does the needle or other instruments used in one procedure used on everyone ? How they you clean to avoid any contagious things What are my chances for successful HT if I don't take any medication ? Is shock loss just a nightmare ? How long it takes to disappear ? Dr Madhu's long hair transplant had not been discused much here what are the pros and cons of such procedure I haven't seen Any full success ( one year post op ) story from any patients from Dr Madhu Why doesn't Dr Madhu share contacts of patients when all other doctors do ? And how come this forum recommend to take informed decision when we don't get an chance to talk to patients upfront ? I would appreciate your feedback Thanks & Regards

Senior Member RodG Posted February 24, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted February 24, 2012 Hi, Most Australians seem to go to Thailand for HT because it is so close and travel is easier. Doctor Madhu is recommended on this forum which is a great bonus. Have u contacted the clinic, because they may have some patients that they can put in touch with. Downunder01
Thanks Rod...I haven't contacted Dr. Madhu or any clinic yet. But I'm trying to get as much as feedback or information on this forum ... I was reading on this forum and gathered that Dr.Madhu doesnt disclose patients contact details on the basis of privacy.. not sure if thats true.. but if all other doctors do.. then why not? Senior Member RCWest Posted February 24, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted February 24, 2012 Dr. Madhu's long hair transplant just gives you a preview of what the final result would be. The hair still sheds and goes through a dormant phase. The surgery takes longer, so I wouldn't opt for it. While I've never had surgery with Dr. Madhu, I've seen many results on here and read a lot of stories praising his work. Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1?
