Senior Member mattj Posted September 2, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2011 (edited) This female patient wished to have her eyebrows restored, as the outer third had thinned significantly on both sides due to over plucking. 285 scalp grafts were extracted by FUE. This is the same patient who underwent FUE surgery for her temples, as seen here. Edited September 6, 2011 by mattj Additional details I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted September 2, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2011 Matt, Thank you for sharing this interesting case with the community. The work looks excellent; some of the most natural eyebrow restoration I've seen! Nicely done. Regular Member Ellie Posted September 7, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted September 7, 2011 I agree its a really natural result. I have strong eye brows and have plucked them for over 30 years in all kind of styles and shapes but they have always grown back . I guess its just depends on your physiology if they eventually dont regrow. I believe it can also be a sign of hypothyroidism when the outer third of the eyebrow thins. Senior Member mattj Posted September 14, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 14, 2011 It looks completely natural as if nothing had ever happened. She must be deighted. On behalf of Dr Rahal, thanks. She's also delighted with the subtle but important difference the grafts made to her hairline. All in all, a nice 'makeover' for a female patient.
