21year old female who at age 17 developed marked alopecia following a coloring treatment that was put on incorrectly and caused scalp injury.

She came to see me at age 20 and with two large alopecic areas as a result of this. An attempt at reducing the scars done by a plastic surgery resulted in a prolonged infection and hair transplantation into the scars was recommended.

The "after photos??? that are seen here are the outcome of 2 hair transplant procedures to the scarred areas. Each transplant consisted of 1100 FU's. The "after" photos are 11 months after the 2nd HT. The surgeries were done one year apart.

This young woman is extremely happy with the results and is no longer wearing hats all the time. She is dating and finishing up her schooling which was interrupted as a result of the trauma this hair loss had caused her.
