Using concealers after HT

I used Toppik concealer after my HT, starting only after the 2nd week. I don't think I have good yield from my HT, done an year back. However, I can't tell what my rough yield percentage is. I used a thick layer of HT as my head was shaved and there was considerable shock loss. I washed it regularly in the beginning with Betadine shampoo which has iodine in it. After a month of HT I didn't wash it regularly but only twice a week. I am wondering whether my poor yield is from using the concealer.

 

I recently read a post by Dr. Hasson where he theorized that using concealers after HT resulted in persistent low grade infection in one patient. He said that this resulted in poor growth.

 

Are there any other people who have had similar experiences by using concealers? Many people on this forum claim they are safe to use. I think we need a consensus on this issue.
