Regular Member coscanoer Posted September 27, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted September 27, 2009 Regarding the thick HT hairs in one's hairline that don't match the soft hairs one would expect; is it possible to pluck the hairs repeatedly until after a few cycles they come in much thinner and softer? Senior Member Sparky Posted September 27, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 27, 2009 tried it, it doesnt change the thickness at all, electrolysis can thin the hairs though. Senior Member imissthebarber Posted September 29, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 29, 2009 Isn't that the same thing that is used to remove hairs altogether? How can you be sure you are thinning them out not killing them altogether? Also do they grow back thicker again in later cycles, in other words, do you need repeated treatments? Senior Member Sparky Posted September 30, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2009 electrolysis normally takes a fair few sessions as do lasers. They dont normally kill off hairs in one go. I've heard of people using this method to thin the hairline but dont take my word for it, do more research.
